It would of been my old mans birthday today, poor sod died before the last season at Upton Park, he was always pro the new ground. Mainly because he wanted West Ham United to do well and become half decent.
I often wonder what he would of been like since we moved. I hope he wouldn’t of stopped as he’d rather go out for the day that be home with my mum.
I find it so sad what’s happened to our support since the move. It’s almost like what ever opinion you have it’s wrong. I see close mates arguing on twitter. I mean for fuck sake, surely at the end of the day we all want West Ham to win? Or do we? I don’t actually know any more.
I wasn’t going to go on the march, not because I like the owners but I’m trying to ignore the shambles and just continue with what I have always done. Which is go to the pub have some beers waste my money and go support West Ham. I can’t seem to get really angry about it all and I don’t know why really.
Anyway. I hope we win and stay up so much as there is more chance of us get brought out in the top division than in the 2nd.
Up the hammers.

We have made quite a bit from moving and more importantly have potential to increase it.
As I said below, our matchday revenue for the few years before the last season at the boleyn ground was around 18/19m. Our first at Stratford was around 10m more, and will continue around that with sell out st's, with potential to increase on that if we expanded to 66k capacity, at little cost.
Our commercial activities have risen 10m more from the regular 14/15m in that time too. So as our wagebill has risen significantly in that time it is now a much smaller percentage of our turnover, giving us a chance to pay the wages of a higher standard of player (if we can attract them)
Although, I do concede it isn't the sort of figures a lot of fans would have agreed to move for, and we seem to piss this potential up the wall with staggering ease.

I've always maintained that we've moved to that ground to be sold onto mega-rich businessmen. I never inclined when that would be but, with that deal that we striked with the government, it was never going to happen right away.
Again, I cannot stand our cheapskate wanker owners but they've moved us there for a purpose. It'll prove to be a win-win situation in the near future. They'll make a massive profit on their purchase and we'll have ourselves seriously-rich new owners... And with a revamped ground, in time, that we own.
I've always said that this would happen. And it will. It's the main, or only, reason why we moved there in the first place.
